ISG speaks at HSBC health & safety seminar
ISG in Hong Kong was invited by its longstanding partner and customer, Arcadis, to share its workplace health & safety strategy across HSBC project sites in a corporate real estate (CRE) vendor seminar jointly organised by HSBC, Arcadis and JLL.
Held at HSBC’s main building in Mong Kok, the seminar was attended by over 50 participants including Arcadis’s partners and vendors, with an objective to promote and raise the importance of best practice in health & safety amongst trade contractors and the supply chain.
ISG’s representatives - Denis Ng, project manager and Tristan Ng, assistant safety officer were invited to share ISG’s comprehensive health & safety practices adopted to one of its construction sites for HSBC in Central.
Denis and Tristan delivered a 20-minute presentation and the key highlights discussed include ISG’s regular safety induction and training for site operatives, risk management, four-point personal protective equipment (PPE) policy, working at height policy, and its internal safety promotion campaigns.
ISG’s health, safety, quality and environmental (HSQE) manager, Tony Kwok said: “Over the years, ISG has been driving a high level of safety standards across the business, effectively demonstrating the importance of occupational safety while managing timely and quality project delivery.
