Join us in June to celebrate our armed forces community

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up the armed forces community: from serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.

Armed Forces Day is on 25 June 2022 and Reserves Day, on 22 June, also provides an opportunity for the country to recognise our Reserve Forces.

We will be celebrating our armed forces community across the week and sharing their stories.

Hear from our armed forces champions

ISG has made a commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, a promise that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. We have now received a Silver award, recognising our commitments as part of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

Our team of armed forces champions meet regularly with events that encourage networking and learning to share with the wider community.

We recently joined them to speak to some of the people involved and hear their stories.

Employment and support with ISG

We provide employment opportunities for service leavers, support for reservists and cadets, and are engaged with a number of armed forces charities.

We have relationships with BuildForce and the Career Transition Partnership to support service leavers interested in construction, and an Early Careers programme for individuals seeking a structured management apprenticeship or graduate programme.

There is also extra support available from ISG’s ‘More for you’ employee benefits package.

You can register your details with us here or contact us directly with any further questions/enquiries.
