Introduction
Leading alternative investment managers, Man Group, appointed ISG to deliver the fit out of their new London headquarters at Riverbank House. In securing the project the ISG team participated in over 18 design workshops and worked with members of their specialist supply chain to construct over 20 mock ups and samples.
The workshops included all aspects of the proposed project including sustainability, architectural concepts, mechanical & electrical, audio-visual, programming, cost, catering options, base build interfacing and security.
The Project
Commencing in May 2010 the project comprised the fit out of 320,000 sq ft over ten floors to include boardrooms, an auditorium, meeting rooms, catering facilities and a staff restaurant. The scope of the works included an extensive upgrade to the infrastructure serving the IT spaces providing an additional 1200 kW of cooling, HV distribution and UPS facilities.
The fit out was undertaken over a 38 week programme with the IT infrastructure and data room delivered as a sectional completion within 27 weeks.
