Introduction
ISG delivered a bespoke office for leading global law firm, Mayer Brown.
The firm are based across America, Asia and Europe with a UK head office in London based at 201 Broadgate.
The project
ISG carried out work on all 11 floors of the building, completing the 290,000 sq ft fit out project in 32 weeks.
The fit out encompassed cellular office space, a new reception area and a fully equipped kitchen and restaurant. A new auditorium was also installed alongside numerous break out areas.
Sustainabilty
In order to reduce waste, ISG worked closely with British Land to implement a number of different initiatives. A sustainability co-ordinator was assigned to the project to promote ISG’s sustainability strategy.
The team focused on waste management. The detailed separation of waste was undertaken to recycle materials and transport them to recycling facilities.
All timber was manufactured by the Forest Stewardship Council or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. This ensured the project was environmentally safe. The project achieved an outstanding 98 per cent recycling rate.
