Introduction
We were responsible for the fit out of two floors at 240 Blackfriars Road in Bankside for the UK based legal firm Boodle Hatfield. Boodle Hatfield has been offering legal advice to leading families, businesses and entrepreneurs since 1722. We were also tasked with fitting out a smaller satellite office for the firm which is located at 6 Grosvenor Street in the prestigious area of Mayfair.
The project
The team at the unoccupied 240 Blackfriars Road transformed the ninth and tenth floors with the construction of office space, meeting rooms and a server room. Extensive mechanical and electrical works were carried out which included adapting chilled beams and ceilings, trench heating and installing bespoke lighting and small power installations. At the multi-tenanted 6 Grosvenor Street, works were carried out to the second floor of the building. We created open plan office space, meeting rooms with movable partition walls, a reception area, a communications room and a beverage area.
