Spin for Charity

Sweat, glow sticks, whistles and raising money for charity were the key ingredients for success at ISG’s first-ever #SpinforCharity event last month.

In partnership with the MEP design consultancy firm, Black & White Engineering, ISG hosted the charity spin event at 1Rebel’s studio in London to raise vital funds and awareness for the young person’s mental health charity, Young Minds.

Over fifty of our clients, consultants and employees took part, raising an impressive £2,500 which will go towards leading the fight for a brighter future where all young people are supported and empowered, whatever their challenges.

Young Minds’ mission is to make sure they get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s challenges.

Richard Irwin, ISG’s business development director for Engineering Services. praised the event: "The positive feedback received from all who took part was proof that the event was a huge success!

"It was heart-warming to see such a good turnout and interest from participants wanting to make a difference to the young lives of those living with mental health issues, and, at the same time, aligning with ISG’s focus on health and well-being and reflecting on the importance it plays in the construction industry.

"This is hopefully the first event of many more to come!"

Emma Hudson, client relations consultant at Black & White Engineering, added: “A charity so close to my heart at this current time, a big thank you to ISG for supporting Young Minds”.
