Bigger, bolder and with a new charity partner - Cycle for Charity returns

In 2018, 180 riders cycled over 10,000 miles and wore 360 metres of lycra for the inaugural Cycle for Charity which raised over £28,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This year Cycle for Charity (2.0) returns, bigger, bolder and with a new charity partner.

Taking place on Thursday 19 September, our second annual bike ride returns to the beautiful country roads of Oxford and Reading with two new challenging 40-mile and 74-mile routes.

To get an idea of what to expect from the day, check out our 2018 video.

After the announcement of our new mental health charity partner earlier this year, Mental Health UK, bringing back Cycle for Charity was a no-brainer for #TeamISG.

Statistics highlight that one in every four people in the UK live with a mental health condition that affects their daily life, whether it be from their physical health to their home, their work and managing finances.

At ISG, we always care; taking pride in creating places for our customers, our people and our world to thrive.

We also believe that the mind and body are separate; but what you do with your body can have a powerful effect on your mental wellbeing.

So, this year, we want to be bigger and bolder, and raise more funds than last year.

This is where you come in…

Interested in taking part?

If you, your colleagues or clients would like to take part in this year’s event, everything you need to know about the event can be found on our dedicated Cycle for Charity webpage.

Entry prices for the ride are £50 per person (plus administration fee) and 100% of the ticket price will be donated to charity. Donations higher than the ticket price are also welcome.

It doesn't matter when you cross the finish line – it's all about taking part – and our goal is to raise much needed funds and awareness for Mental Health UK.

Places are on a first-come, first-served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Calling all volunteers

If you are not an avid cyclist, but still want to participate in some way, we are looking for volunteers to help on the day.

If you would like to find out more or have any questions, contact our events team at CycleforCharity@isgplc.com.

Sign up before it’s too late, and join #TeamISG for our second charity bike ride and be part of helping to improve the lives of everyone living with, and affected by, mental illness.
