ISG has been awarded Gold accredited membership via The 5% Club’s 2022-23 Employer Audit Scheme.

This award recognises our significant contribution to the continued development of all our employees through ‘earn & learn’ schemes such as apprenticeships, graduate schemes and sponsored students course placements.

Out of 129 members, ISG was one of 107 employers who met the Gold standard after reporting over 8% of its workforce were classified as early careers. The announcement supports our ‘Right thing first strategy’ and goal to be an outstanding employer, creating a culture where our employees feel empowered and encouraged to grow, learn, collaborate and become the best they can be.

“At ISG, our goal is to be an outstanding employer and we are committed to ensuring we can attract and develop bright, capable and motivated people, who feel inspired and empowered to be the best they can be. We are very proud to have been recognised by The 5% Club with gold accreditation for our investment in our apprentices, graduates and placement students. We see our early careers employees as the potential leaders of tomorrow, and as with all employees, we want them to have the very best experiences and development opportunities we can offer”

Sarah McKinlay, Talent Development Director, ISG

The 5% Club is a dynamic movement of employers who are inspired to take positive action for increased, inclusive, and accessible workplace training. The network includes over 750 companies and 1.6 million employees, 93,500 of whom are in ‘earn and learn’ schemes.

The Employer Audit is a unique scheme which validates the employers’ activities, explores their future plans and commitments, as well as examining their approaches to quality, social mobility, diversity and inclusion.

Mark Cameron OBE, Chief Executive at The 5% Club said, “Our Employer Audit scheme recognises the efforts of all those Employers who invest in their workforce through a broad range of workplace learning schemes. It is fantastic that in these challenging times so many are able to commit to the Employer Audit and to gain the credit for their efforts, and that the majority are striving to expand their schemes over the coming years. Their efforts and achievements are to be applauded.”

ISG will join other members and be formally accredited at a prestigious ceremony on Wednesday 30 November 2022.
