ISG organised its annual Supply Chain Forum and Awards, which celebrates ISG’s longstanding relationship with more than 65 of its sub-contractors and key suppliers, across all construction services specialisations, including civil works, MEP, HVAC services, FF&E and other specialist suppliers. The event underlines the key role of supply chain partners in enabling ISG to provide the best customer experience in the industry, achieving optimal operational efficiency, offering unbeatable employment experiences, and driving revolutionary change in the construction industry.

The ISG Supply Chain Forum and Awards is an annual event and was started in 2019. It brings together ISG’s key suppliers to share and exchange knowledge and best practice on improvement of competencies, tendering success, working processes and project delivery.  It also highlights right tools that can be integrated into their operations to achieve optimum results for the projects undertaken with ISG and for their respective businesses. This year’s event also serves as a celebration of ISG’s supply chain partners’ resilience and successful delivery of major projects, including extensive Expo2020 Dubai work packages, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event also highlights ISG’s focus on sustainability and renewed emphasis on Health, Sustainability, Quality and Environment (HSQE) post COVID-19.

Andrew Collier, Commercial Director, Middle East, ISG (photographed) said: “Suppliers and sub-contractors are the backbone of delivery in our industry, and it is important that major construction firms invest in the upskilling of their supply chain partners and in aligning them with global best practices. This is an investment that ISG makes, not only in its critical supply chain partners, but also in its collective capability to deliver successful projects safely and efficiently for its clients.

“We are absolutely delighted at how well the ISG Supply Chain Forum is received by our partners, especially after a difficult 18 months for our sector and look forward to many more in-person events, that allow us to connect and build stronger ties with our suppliers.”

Jinesh Shah, of AV/IT specialist, Alpha Data, said “Working with ISG has always been an exciting journey, and is more of an extended partnership, rather than client-vendor relationship. ISG’s guidance throughout project execution stage motivates us to go extra mile. The ISG Supply Chain Forum is a great initiative for us to come together and connect with the industry, and recognition for hard work also goes a long way.”

The ISG Supply Chain Forum Awards includes the ISG Value Awards which are aligned with the company’s core values; Dream Smart, Speak Frankly, Always Care and Never Stop Learning, the HSQE Awards which recognise commitment to exemplary health, safety, and wellbeing management, and the Unsung Heroes Awards which recognises supply chain partners who have gone above and beyond expectations to support project delivery.

The nominations process included prequalification and a voting process, which involved all ISG’s team members, who have any interface with the supply chain partners, throughout the entire project cycle.
