The customer needed the space to work for both race days and as conference/private hire facilities. This required a high specification finish with durable quality that would tolerate the different strains each type of event would place on it.

ISG managed the fit out of the new grandstand and the refurbishment and fit out of the existing buildings at Ascot Racecourse. This included the Royal box and dining rooms, restaurants corporate boxes, bars and public areas.

The Project

The scope of works included everything from service installations through to the IT/TV cabling in order to equip the building with hospitality and entertainment facilities. Despite a very compressed programme, The Queen, as planned, officially opened Ascot on the first day of the Royal meeting.
