Our ongoing portfolio of work for the Department for Education (DfE) framework calls upon our highly skilled and experienced background in both new build and refurbishment projects. Formally known as the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), projects include turning a disused swimming pool and leisure facility into Leeds’ Temple Learning Academy, and building a new school for The Linden Academy in Luton.DfE website
Our work for the MOJ highlights our multi-disciplined, multi-service offer in the public sector and aptly displays our full range of construction capabilities. We are on both regional and national MoJ frameworks. Under an earlier framework, we delivered more than 40 projects valued at over £82m and delivered time-savings of 42 weeks via the use of lean project delivery.MOJ website
We hold a place on the high and medium value North West Construction Hubs frameworks.
Covering public sector projects across the North West of England valued between £8-15 million and £15-35 million, Lots 1 and 2 of the high value framework encompass a broad geographical area including Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria.
The medium value framework covers the same area and makes us eligible to apply for capital work projects valued between £2-10m.
Promoting collaboration and driving continuous improvement, the NWCH has been instrumental in supporting local supply chain employment and delivering a positive legacy of community apprentice and workplace opportunities. Since its establishment, the NWCH has delivered in the region of 300 projects for around 80 clients, covering a construction value of more than £1.5 billion.North West Construction Hub website
Pagabo enables us to be selected for Major Construction Works from £5m-£50m in the North, the Midlands, the South West, Wales, London and the South East. Pagabo removes bureaucracy and red tape to allow public sector organisations to increase value from their procurement processes, which is particularly relevant during times of austerity. ISG has also secured a place on four lots of the £1 billion Pagabo refit and refurbishment public sector framework. The idea is to procure services from SMEs, and we are proud to be part of this network.Pagabo website
We are proud to be part of the YORbuild2 framework which covers the Yorkshire and Humber region, Sheffield, North East England and Lincolnshire. Launched in February 2016, YORbuild2 is one of the largest public sector procurement vehicles for new build, refurbishment and design and build construction projects. We have secured a place on the ‘over £4-10 million’ and ‘over £10 million’ lots for each of the frameworks’ four geographical regions.YORbuild2 website
The South East Wales Collaborative Construction Framework (SEWSCAP3) sees 20 public sector bodies working together in a spirit of mutual trust and co-operation, sharing information and highlighting potential difficulties in the project as early as possible. The framework relates to both new build and refurbishment projects valued over £1.5m, and is used by Welsh police forces, higher and further education bodies, local authorities and registered social landlords.SEWSCAP3 website
For the SCF, we have delivered projects in education, healthcare, sports, leisure and offices sectors, and for the emergency services across earlier versions of the framework. One example is a new build, three-storey 'lifestyle centre' at Petroc College in Barnstaple, Devon, where we created authentic working environments across the media, beauty therapy, tourism and hospitality sectors.SCF website
