Occasionally Vision built-in functionality does not suit a client's needs. IGS is one of the foremost authorities in the country in developing custom Vision reports and invoice templates in Actuate, as well as proposal templates in Word. Additionally, ISG has already taken steps to maintain our edge in this development arena by developing reports in SQL Reporting Services. This reporting platform is scheduled to replace Actuate in Version 6.0 of Vision. Development in SQL Reporting Services will ensure a smooth transition for all of our clients who currently have custom reports and invoice templates in Actuate. - Dynamic Workflows and Stored Procedures
Workflows allow you to create conditions within info center applications for which you want an alert. With workflows, you can automate the process of being alerted each time a specific event takes place. This creates more timely, more collaborative, and accurate completion of tasks. ISG also has the experience to develop advanced workflows using stored procedures for complex updates. These updates of the Vision database can be triggered based upon changes in info center conditions, or can be a regularly scheduled workflow task.
